Summer seems a long time ago now as I sit here with winter darkness descending outside so I thought I'd cheer myself up and you too I hope, my loyal reader, with a couple of pics taken on my Ascot adventure.
I spent three wonderful days in London  getting out and about dressed in my summer plummage wowing the natives and vistors alike. I mention just a few events; free tour of the spectacular restored St. Pancreas Hotel; a visit to Dennis Severs house, a Flemish weaver's house of the 17th century as it was , more or less, toured in silence taking in the feel and delicate sounds of the family long gone, recommeded!

Then Tuesday morning; gorgeous breakfast in a new place opposite King's Cross and then by tube and train to Ascot. Very quiet but relaxing and lovely day with new friends (see foties).

The other fotie (below) shows me on my way home in the magnificent new King's Cross Station. At last we have something worthy to replace the Victorian spendour. Taken by two gobsmacked chinese visitors. I could hardly stand so tired and emotional was I.

What a blast. The first time I attended Ascot on my own. I had with me just a plastic wine glass, 'twas never empty, Great, see you there next year!

BACK!

Welcome back me!

After long absence I have decided to start posting again. I begin with a pic in front of the Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh, tightly corsetted especially for the occasion. I am proud of the suit which I think looks great after long gestation. It is my "country suit",  tweedy, long 'n cosy.

Details:-  Underneath, Rago high waisted open bottom girdle, model1294 with Rago longline bra, model 2202 and  tight wide waist belt, Aristoc fully fashioned cuban heel stockings (always worn inside out). Brown very thin unlined kid gloves by Chester Jeffries (gloves are for elegance, not to keep you hands warm) and shoes by Tesco! Not to mention false eyelashes, hair, nails, boobs and BIG padded hips and thighs etc. In a word, well two, all false! All illusion but I never felt better.

I now get out and about with almost complete confidence, practice really. The more you do do it, the more you do it! I think I'm still improving although age is rapidly overtaking me but I still have more work to do on myself  i.e. choosing another suit ensemble and another coatdress maybe and experimenting with makeup.  I have very few dresses or summer outfits. I like winter weather, more opperchancities to wrap up, wearing my gorgeous gloves, lace up shoes, furs. Ooh!

Would it be too much to say I am my own special creation-------- ? I know, I know,  a song but it is the way I view my dressing. It is my project,  my passion. To combine shape; colour, texture, materials. Silks and tweed, leather and lace to name just some possiblities. Being a Trannie,  one can explore the endless combinations opened up and for one to choose and wear!

I shall endeavour to post regularly so please drop by, I would welcome your comments,

Luv, Carolyn.
